New York – April 26, 2023 – Digitas, the Networked Experience Agency and part of the Digital Experience division of Publicis Groupe [Euronext Paris FR0000130577, CAC 40] today announced Amy Lanzi as CEO in a move that further accelerates the strength and momentum of the U.S. business.

Most recently Chief Operating Officer for Publicis Commerce, Lanzi built the market-leading Commerce offering that remains a first mover in the convergence of media, experience, creative, and technology. She is an instrumental leader for Publicis Groupe, having led significant commerce growth in the holding company’s new business efforts and modernizing Commerce for existing clients. Additionally, she drove the integration of Publicis Groupe’s recent commerce acquisitions, CitrusAd and Profitero, while spearheading key commerce partnerships. Amy is a well-respected leader building and activating a cross-functional community of 10,000 Commerce practitioners within Publicis Groupe while taking home top honors and recognition as a She Runs It Trailblazing Mother of the Year, Campaign US 40 Over 40 and inclusion in The Adweek 50 list. Prior to joining Publicis, Amy spent over 20 years at Omnicom’s TPN, where she helped grow the company from a team of 30 to 350 and expanded its presence to include offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Bentonville and London.
Lanzi’s appointment as CEO further reinforces Digitas’ leadership in the next era of the agency’s momentum. Digitas, known for its integrated capabilities, is a natural fit for Amy’s creative commerce vision. She brings her commerce expertise to the agency’s prowess in building Networked Brand Experiences for clients, as well as a keen eye for business impact amidst a changing landscape of consumer behavior and platform partners.
Lanzi will retain the Chair position for Publicis Commerce and will succeed Jodi Robinson at Digitas, who will be moving into a new innovation-focused role at Publicis, where she will be charged with continuing the market-leading differentiation of Publicis Groupe’s people, data and technology model and platform.
Robinson has been a dedicated and inspiring leader at Digitas for 22 years and played an instrumental role in the agency’s impact to clients, its people, and its reputation as a digital-first, integrated agency.
